Good classic game August 16, 2010 MrD It's a few years old, but it's still got some life in it! The four races each have their strong and weak points, and while the two campaigns are a little cheesy, they still have plenty of playing time included!
Pros: Doesn't require an extremely fast PC! You can pick one of three main gods for each race, and then pick one of two lesser deities each time you level up your age, for a total of four god powers in any game. There are dozens of possible paths you can take, so gameplay rarely gets stale! Graphics are awesome for an older game.
Cons: Graphics aren't fantastic compared to newer games. Campaigns are rather cliche, and you can get hung up on certain scenarios if you don't follow the instructions exactly. Some of the myth units seem a little weak or redundant (the Nemean Lion is a lot like the Chimaera, for example) while others are almost too powerful (like the fire giant or the colossus.)
awsome July 10, 2010 cnnich the product was fun and well made. good for people that are into strategy games
Don't buy Gold Edition For Online Play December 23, 2009 P. Steen (GR,MI) The Titans key is invalid as posted by others, I have gotten the vanilla key to work. The disc also contains corrupted files. You should purchase the original from Microsoft but they are screwing us here charging $85 or so for the thing...
Great Game November 12, 2009 M. Kane (California, USA) This is a great game, great long lasting campaine0-not a short, uneventfull one-, defintitly worth the money. Interesting story line, you even learn a few things (actually a lot of things) about greek mythology. once you learn the rules, this game is great fun. GREAT GAME.
Needs more Expansions! June 15, 2009 Michael Berromilla (San Diego) This game is fun, well balanced and with lots of replay value. Personally I love mythology and the idea of taking these different mythologies from all over the world is great. I wish there were more expansion packs, you can do so much with this, and there are so many other mythologies around the world that you can add to this.
